The National Day of Prayer has great significance for us as a nation as it enables us to recall and to teach the way in which our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical decisions. It stands as a call for us to humbly come before God, seeking His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people.
Commit to an hour or more of peaceful, prayerful vigil to end abortion. You can either pray at home on your own or join us on Saturday, March 9 in front of Planned Parenthood in Fairview Heights for FBCO’s Day to Pray. InExcelsis (an STL Homeless Ministry) has just purchased a Mobile Shower Unit. FBCO for Life will be collecting supplies to facilitate showers for this ministry. In the month of March, there will be ‘buckets’ at the two entrances for donations. List of items needed will be posted on the collection boxes.

We are looking for volunteers to help serve on December 11th and 12th. We will have the Christian Activities Center of Fairmont City on December 11th and Christian Activity Center of East STL on December 12th, both will be joining us at 4:30pm for a time of cookie decorating, inflatables and fellowship.
Join us to learn details about our upcoming Poland Mission Trip where we will be teaching adult conversational English and helping with a children's camp.
We will help the Ugandan medical team at the island clinics, teaching pastors and church leaders, encouraging believers, leading children’s ministry, and sharing the gospel on the islands of Lake Victoria.
FBCO For Life is collecting winter donations for the homeless. Items needed: Men's Jeans (size 32), socks, coats, hats, gloves, blankets, and sleeping bags. Collection boxes are at the Seven Hills Entrance and in the Atrium. Please bring donations before November 10.

This year, instead of doing a fall festival or a “trunk or treat” event where we invite the community to come to us—we want to go out INTO the community and reflect Christ’s love on one of the spiritually darkest nights of the year.

Come and hear about our recent Mission Trip to Poland where we worked with Polish families and Ukrainian women and children who have been displaced by the fighting in Ukraine.
We are sponsoring a mission trip to Poland this summer (July 13 - 23) to assist the local Polish Baptist Church with ministering to the hundreds of Ukrainian women and their children refugees who have fled the devastation in the Ukraine.
We will be assisting the Ugandan medical team at the island clinics, teaching pastors and church leaders, encouraging believers, leading children’s ministry, and sharing the gospel on the islands of Lake Victoria.
The primary goal is to help repair and rebuild this beautiful Baptist Camp. Each day we will help local believers with construction and in the afternoon and evenings we participate in church activities such as Children’s Ministries, Women’s Bible Studies and sharing testimonies. We also take part in evening services with the whole church. As long as we are in the Camp property or in a believer’s home, we are able to share the Gospel with anyone.
The primary goal is to encourage believers at Fifth Baptist Church. Each day we will help local believers with construction and in the afternoon and evenings we participate in church activities such as Children’s Ministries, Women’s Bible Studies and sharing testimonies. We also take part in evening services with the whole church.
Help Mosaic PHC transform lives & save babies from abortion! Pick up a baby bottle from the Atrium starting 1/9, fill it with coins, cash, or a check made payable to Mosaic PHC & bring it back to FBCO no later than 2/6 to share the love with moms & unborn babies. We want boys and girls around the world to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainty. Most of all, they need the hope found only in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

SERVE DAY ‘21 is a hope-filled, high-energy day where we, the local church, roll up our sleeves and serve our community! Our church is partnering with local organizations, city officials, and ministries outside our church to identify and take on community service projects that will make a lasting difference in our neighborhoods and community.
