About
- Clubhouse Guatemala, located in Guatemala City, is a Christ-centered ministry that desires to reach the lost of Guatemala.
- Clubhouse was started in 2003 by Mike and Carla Parker.
- The Parkers reach families and villages through block parties, shoe and clothing distribution, face paint, vacation bible school, and many other creative ways to show the love of Christ.
- As the ministry has developed over the years, the Parkers have handed more and more leadership over to the native staff from Guatemala.
- The Guatemalan leaders have always been a key to the success of the ministry, but they need help from short-term teams to support their ministry and to build the local church!
What Will Our Team Do?
- Teams will be a part of ministry in Guatemala City while serving with youth and children in one of the many different villages or sections of the city where Clubhouse Guatemala is working.
- Typically, teams will stay at Camp Calvary outside the city or at a missionary house in the heart of the city.
- Each day, groups would have the opportunity to go into the school systems in partnership with the local church, and put on VBS-type activities for a few hundred students at a time! • Groups may also have the opportunity to participate in light construction, food and clothing distribution, and home visits to the surrounding community.
- The team will also get a day of rest to enjoy the historic city of Antigua!
