As people serve, whether in the church, in the Metro East, or around the world, the impact has the power to change lives. We want to help you find your “sweet spot” for serving and provide opportunities to maximize your skills and abilities. Our serving opportunities are as diverse as our church family.

First Impressions/Connection

First impressions matter because people matter! The First Impressions / Connection ministry plays a vital role in welcoming members and guests to our campus and helping them get connected. We will equip and train you with all the necessary tools and information. Ministry opportunities include serving as an usher, greeter, coffee maker, or as a guest specialist at one of the Welcome Center desks.

KidS

KidsLife Ministry volunteers work together in fun and unique roles to create an impactful environment for kids from birth to sixth grade to learn who God is. We offer a variety of opportunities to serve throughout the week, as well as special events like Vacation Bible School. Come join our KidsLife Ministry Team to show our kids that they can KNOW God, GROW in His ways, and GO tell everyone about Him!

Students

Our Student Ministry strives to provide students and families an engaging place for discipleship to take place. From large group events and missions to LIFE Groups (Sunday morning small group Bible studies), we have a unique and exciting place for you to use your talents to make a difference in the lives of teenagers from all over the Metro East.

Adults

Life is better in community! Invest in other adults and create a welcoming environment by leading an adult LIFE Group at First Baptist! In addition, there are opportunities for you to use your gifts in a variety of other ministries including helping with conferences, men’s and women's ministries, discipleship groups, adult special needs and more!

Worship & Production

Each week, the Worship Ministry at First Baptist presents two different Worship Services: Blended and Modern, creating a wide range of opportunities to serve. Whether your desire is to play an instrument, sing in the choir or on a praise team, we have a place for you! Maybe your interest lies more in the area of technology and audio/visual. If so, we have numerous ministry opportunities for you to serve in our state-of-the-art production department.

Missions

As believers, we all have been given a mission and we find our purpose when we embrace it. So, what is our mission? To seek the glory of God and the good of all peoples through Jesus Christ. At First Baptist O’Fallon, we carry out this mission locally, regionally, and internationally. We have opportunities to serve in social ministries, mission trips, and more!
