The KidsLife Ministry serves infants through 5th grade children and their parents. Our mission is to serve children and families by showing the kids how they can KNOW God, GROW in His ways, and GO tell others about Him. Our vision is to partner with parents in walking alongside their children to show them how to fall passionately in love with Jesus and follow Him forever.
We’re happy that you are going to join us! Once you arrive at First Baptist O’Fallon, please stop by one of our KidsLife Welcome Desks to check your child in. After you complete a quick registration card, we’ll print out 2 important tags:
One tag will have your child’s name, any allergies they may have, the location of their classroom, and a unique code assigned to your child. Place this tag on your child.
The other tag is for you to present when picking up your child. We will show you where your child’s classroom is located and introduce you to their teacher.
When your child is on our campus, his or her safety is our top priority. That’s why we work very hard to have plans in place for any crisis such as fire, earthquake, or tornado. Our volunteers are background-checked, trained, and equipped to be the best leader they can be for your child.
Weekly Happenings
Children may attend while parents are in LIFE Groups or Worship Service. Classes are available for infants - 5th grade during the 8:30/9:40/11:00 hours. Our teachers prepare to teach using Bible Studies For Life, a curriculum from Lifeway® Christian Resources.
Each age group participates in age-appropriate learning activities based on the Bible verse/section being taught. Children will also hear a biblical message on their level of understanding. Everything we do for your child will be Gospel and biblically-centered.
Our midweek worship for infants - 5th grade consists of an energetic time that is designed for kids to learn about following Christ through discipleship and application of biblical truths.
Get ready for a week of adventure at Breaker Rock Beach where kids will learn that God's truth never changes! As they fly kites in the misty seaside air, explore tide pools, and spot orcas and sea lions, kids will be challenged to recognize the difference between the lies (or half-truths) of culture and God's unchanging truth.
KidsLife Ministry volunteers work together in fun and unique roles to create an impactful environment for kids from birth to sixth grade to learn who God is. We offer a variety of opportunities to serve throughout the week, as well as special events like Vacation Bible School.

Special Needs
KidsLife Extra is the Special Needs Ministry at First Baptist O’Fallon. We want to embrace and equip children and young adults with extra care to meet their needs with kindness and encouragement, all while showing them God’s love for them. We consider it a privilege to offer LIFE Group Bible classes, buddies for our special VIPs, and a well-trained staff of volunteers and caring individuals to make Sunday their best day of the week!

Safe Families for Children is a volunteer movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families together during times of distress.
Family Dedication
Children are one of God's greatest gifts, and we'd love to celebrate the life of your child with you as well as offer you the opportunity to formally dedicate him or her to the Lord.
More Than Moms
More than Moms is a place for you to feel encouraged, be equipped and engage with other moms all while applying the gospel to our everyday lives. Come connect with other moms to find your complete identity as wife, mother and most importantly—a child of God. We want to remember; we are always More than Moms.
