Wouldn’t it be awesome if there was something every Sunday night during the summer? That’s what After Hours is all about! Every Sunday night during the summer, we’ll have a special event for our students following the Student Worship Service. Below is a list of all the events (or you can download our brochure here).
June 2 – Welcome Night & Ice Cream Social
This is the first night our incoming 7th grade class can begin participating in student ministry events during the summer (except for Life Group) and we want to welcome them! During this time, we’ll also have a parent meeting for our incoming 7th grade parents as well in Gym Room 2.
June 9 – Ultimate Frisbee & Kickball
Come hangout with friends and join in this night of non-stop fun as we see which team leaves victorious in ultimate frisbee and kickball. Jr. High and High School will play separately.
June 16 – Man vs. Food
Man vs. Food takes the eating contest to a whole new level as students play to see who has the strongest stomach. Even if you don’t participate, this is something you’ll have to see to believe.
June 23 – Minute to Win It Game Night
You remember the gameshow where people were asked to do a challenge in less than a minute in order to win a prize? We’re taking that same idea and seeing who has what it takes to win it in less than a minute!
June 30 – Volleyball Night
It’s not summer without volleyball, right? Jr. High and High School will play separately and the location is to be determined. Stay tuned for details!
July 7 – 9-Square In The Air
This is the perfect night to bring a friend as everyone is able to join in and participate in our 9-Square competition! Not sure what 9-Square is? Check out this video.
July 14 – Lip Sync Battle
We’re not searching for the next American Idol, but we might just find one with our Lip Sync Battle! This night is packed with fun as we watch and enjoy each student’s own personal take on classic songs.
July 21 – Dodgeball
Who doesn’t love a good dodgeball game? This timeless game is making it’s way to a summer After Hour’s night at FBCO Students! Jr. High and High School will play separately.
July 28 – Outdoor Game Night
It’s not a summer event without one final night outdoors. This event is still to be determined so stay tuned for details!
