Buddy Break is a free respite program where kids with special needs (VIP kids) make new friends, play fun games, enjoy crafts, stories, music, activities, and more! Meanwhile, their caregivers get a break from their ongoing care-giving responsibilities for two hours. Buddy Break is open to everyone with VIP kids. Each VIP kid is paired one-on-one with a screened volunteer "Buddy" to participate in that day's activities. Buddy Break is for special needs children ages 2-18 years old and their siblings ages 2 years - 6th grade. Space is limited.
WHO ARE VIP KIDS?
VIPs are kids with special needs, which include any physical, cognitive, medical or hidden disability, chronic or life-threatening illness, or those who are medically fragile.
WHO ARE BUDDIES?
Buddies are friends of VIPs.

Once the VIP Sign Up is complete, click the “Buddy Break Reservation” button below to reserve your child's spot at our next FBCO Buddy Break event.
