Remodeling — Worship Center Restrooms & Atrium

  • First Baptist O'Fallon 1111 East Highway 50 O'Fallon, IL, 62269 United States (map)

We’re so excited to start renovating our Worship Center restrooms and finish remodeling the Atrium! In order for us to move forward with these updates, we will have some inconveniences that we will need to graciously work around. Here’s the proposed timeline for work to be done:

  • The East Worship Center Restrooms near the FBA (First Baptist Academy) Office will begin renovations. During this time, the east restrooms will be closed. The south restrooms on the Seven Hills side of the Worship Center will be open and available for use. We will also demolish our current Deacons’ Closet in the Atrium during this phase.

  • The South Worship Center Restrooms on the Seven Hills side of the Worship Center will begin renovations. During this time, the newly renovated East Worship Center Restrooms will be open for use. We will also complete the floor in the Atrium during this phase. For the floor to set correctly, we will not be able to walk on it once it’s poured. From Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19 the Atrium will be closed. The Main Entrance will be closed and the KidsLife Entrance will be available for anyone who needs to come to the church during this week. On both Sundays, July 14 and July 21, we will be able to use the floor as usual.

  • Once the Atrium floors are finished, we will install a new Welcome Center, install base trim, and install carpeting on the window benches in the Atrium, along with other finishing touches that may be needed.

From Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19 the Atrium will be closed. The Main Entrance will be closed and the KidsLife Entrance will be available for anyone who needs to come to the church during this week. On both Sundays, July 14 and July 21, we will be able to use the floor as usual.

We would love your prayers during this process as well! Please pray that we may be a good example of Christ as we interact with the construction crews—pray that work would go smoothly and safely and that it may be completed in God’s perfect timing. We appreciate you all and your willingness to be flexible and work with us and the construction crews during this time. It will be difficult for a short period of time, but it will be so worth it in the long-run!
