FAQ

This year, you’ll notice there are no overnight activities which is a change from the past. Parents will need to ensure transportation to and from the church on Friday and Saturday.
Students and families may arrange their own plans for overnight activities but supplies, resources and promotion will not be provided by First Students.
If you have any questions regarding this decision, please reach out to us at fbcostudents@fbcofallon.org.

Parents are encouraged to still walk in with their children for check-in, but as long as the online registration is completed and any waivers are submitted, it is not required. Please keep in mind students do not need to pack or bring luggage as there are not overnight activities this year. If you have arranged your own overnight plans, any luggage or materials can be put into the Gym for storage.

Should a student need to arrive late or leave early, parents must complete a time away card which informs us of the student’s whereabouts. This is for student safety and knowledge of their location. Students may drive themselves to and from The WKND. However, if leaving during the event, students should inform a First Student Staff member and parents should still make us aware.

Lunch and dinner on Saturday are included in the cost of registration. Students will be served boxed Chick-fil-A lunches and dinner will be pulled pork sandwiches, chips and miscellaneous sides. Students who are gluten free should note so on their registration and gluten free options will be made available to them to the best of our ability. If a student has a severe food allergy, you may send them with their own meals which can be stored and heated up and a prorated refund will be alloted to you.

On Saturday, there will be different free time options for students that may involve going off campus. Should this be the case, students will be transported via rented buses and activities will be provided closer to the event. These may include such things as: Urban Air, SkyZone, Rec Plex, Indoor Bubble soccer, etc. The cost of these is included in the registration price.
Serve Projects are also an option for students who would like to participate in this instead of the Rec option. On the registration, please select if your student would like to participate in Rec or Serve. There is no discount for those who select the Serve Project option as supplies and transportation are still being covered in the registration price.
