Easter Meal Baskets

Students will begin their Easter Break on Wednesday, March 31 and not return to school until April 6, and will not have access to free school lunches for six days. So, as we focus on being Outward-Focused, FBCO will be collecting Easter Meal Baskets for the at-risk students of two local elementary schools through Operation Top Shelf. Once collected, secretaries at the elementary schools will work with parents to have baskets picked up.

Suggested Food Items:

  • Large can of stew

  • Couple cans of soup

  • Peanut butter, jelly with box of saltine crackers or loaf of bread

  • Couple cans of fruit

  • Box of cereal

  • Small Velveeta cheese

  • Jar of spaghetti sauce and box of spaghetti noodles

  • Tube of potato chips

  • Chicken and dumplings

  • Cans of vegetables

  • Raisins

  • Trail mix

  • Pop Tarts

  • Individual oatmeal packets

  • Banquet Home Style Bakes-this is a kit that provides a complete meal — all they have to do is add water

  • Kraft macaroni and cheese

A note from FBCO will be included in every basket to let families know we care about them.

Return Date

Please bring your Easter Baskets to the Atrium on Sunday, March 14 or March 21.
