FAQ
Who do I contact if I have any questions about Student Life Camp?
Contact the First Students team at fbcostudents@fbcofallon.org
What will accommodations and room arrangements be like?
This depends on the location where our camp is hosted. The majority of Student Life Camp locations use dorm rooms with 2-4 beds and shared bathrooms or community bathrooms. Specific information will be shared with parents as the camp date approaches.
Can I send my Jr. High student to Student Life Camp?
In the past our answer was no, but this year we have decided to send both our JHM and HS groups to Student Life Camp. Our groups will travel separately, have different small groups and meeting times, but will gather together for worship.
Who will be watching over my student while at camp?
From First Students, we bring one adult for every 5-7 students. These adults are screened, background checked, and trained before attending camp.
Is there any financial assistance available?
Yes! This year, we are starting something we’re calling the HelpGo Camp Scholarship. This is a specific scholarship that provides financial assistance because cost should never be a reason why a student cannot attend camp. When registering your student, a form will be available to request the HelpGo Camp Scholarship. For any questions, please contact the First Students team at fbcostudents@fbcofallon.org.
What does the camp cost go toward?
We charge as close to the cost of camp as we can while being able to also fund transportation. Camp costs and transportation costs have gradually increased over the years.
