Episode 1 - Salvation

Pastor Mariano begins our Next Steps collection by explaining Salvation. This episode focuses on understanding the greatest decision of your life and seeing it through Scripture.

Episode 2 - When Do I Get Baptized?

When is the right time to get baptized? If you are a believer in Christ, the time is now! Baptism is a public confession of faith done in obedience of God’s command to be baptized.

Episode 3 - The Bible/Studying Scripture

Many times we ask the question: “How do I hear from God?”. This can be answered simply, read His Word. In this episode, Pastor Mariano challenges the believer to make God’s Word the authority of his / her life.

Episode 4 - How Do I Pray?

Do you spend time talking to God? What if we told you that you have the ability to communicate to the Creator of the world? You do! In episode 4, we discuss prayer!

Episode 5 - Overcoming Sin/Temptation

What is sin? The Bible gives us many lists of sin such as in Galatians 5 or Mark 7:1-23. Sin can be defined as willful actions or attitudes that violate God's moral standards, causing harm and damaging relationships, requiring repentance and seeking forgiveness. The Bible teaches us that we are inherently sinful and we need Jesus. Now that you are a believer, there are sinful areas of your life that you will need to overcome, change, and leave behind. Our hope is this video helps you identify sin in your life and think about overcoming the sin and temptation in your life.

Episode 6 - The Church

The Church is the body of Christ. It’s common to hear that church is not a main part of Christian life, but God’s Word tells us as Christians we are supposed to be a part of a local church—YOU need the Church and the Church needs YOU. The Church functions as a body, with each member contributing their unique gifts and talents to serve God and impact the world with the transformative power of the gospel. In Episode 6, we are challenged to be a part of a local church, to serve and be a part of the body under the headship of Jesus.

Episode 7 - Who Is The Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is a person of the Trinity, yet oftentimes we do not talk about Him. Who is the Holy Spirit, what is His role to believers, and how can we understand Him?

Episode 8 - How To Share The Gospel

Pastor Mariano shares with us our final episode of our Next Steps collection where we are challenged to fulfill the Great Commission by going out into this world, being a light in a dark world, and creating more disciples.
